The Kentucky Association for School Social Work is governed by an 18-member Board of Officers. The Board establishes the organization’s goals and priorities, empowers the work of the association, and provides updates to members.

Each year, positions on the KASSW Board of Officers are up for election. Elections are held by anonymous ballot and are decided by the majority of KASSW members casting ballots. Elected positions include President, Vice-President, and Secretary.
